Happy #MakarSankranti and #Pongal!
“Kalathu Maadu” (The Farm Cow) is an attempt to capture a day in the life at the farm, celebrating the daily activities of the farmer and his cows.
What a farmer is to the society, a cow is to the Indian farmer. Over generations, the Indian farmer and his cow have developed a very interesting and intimate relationship. They nurture each other and the field, and the farmer also worships and celebrates the cow, in gratitude to the crucial role it plays in his life. The whole village relates personally and emotionally to cows.
