Shiv Aroor, Executive Editor of India Today conversed with Sadhguru at India Today Conclave South 2021. Sadhguru discussed Mahashivratri, COVID-19 and answered probing questions related to current affairs and politics. Addressing the issue of Tamil Nadu temples being run by the government, he said that temples are not just places of prayer, but a powerhouse. He expressed concern over the alarming state of decline of thousands of temples in Tamil Nadu and how we need to free these temples from the government’s hands and allow them to be managed by devotees.
