Blue (Poem)

As I come awake to the peacock call
Blue it sounds in my ears

I open my eyes and look at the ceiling
It has become like the open sky all blue

The floor being my choice has always been blue
Oh look at my tongue, blue, blue, blue
If I bleed I’m sure it will be blue

Oh Keshava the White Mountain has turned blue too
Or is it the depth of my passion for you Neelamega that has turned my vision blue?

Is this the result of your blatant invasion of my every pore?
Is this your way of revealing to the world how shamelessly I long for you?

Now that there is no hiding that I am mad with your blue
And I live in you as you live in me my blue

Now that my inner color has leaked into the world
there is no escape for you my blue.
