Sadhguru spoke to editor-in-chief of Republic Media Network, Arnab Goswami. The interview was aired on Republic TV. Sadhguru emphasized on the significance of temples in Tamil culture, saying, “In Tamil Nadu, many towns are referred to as temple towns, because first we built the temple, and then our own homes. This is the nature of this culture.” He further outlined the gross neglect of Hindu temples, and glaring injustice in the context religions in India.
