Life (Poem)

The cool mountain breeze
Caresses me and the mountains
Cold, bare and blue
These ageless brooding rocks
Much life they have
Sustained, nourished and snuffed out

In your bosom you have borne
Men of gentle love and heartless treachery
Many a man has spilt blood
Upon you by accident or intent

The cool mountain breeze caresses me
Inviting to life and death.

Love & Grace
