Maharashtra became the fifth Indian state to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the Save Soil movement as Shri Aaditya Thackeray, then Cabinet Minister of Tourism and Environment for the Government of Maharashtra, joined Sadhguru on stage for a live public event, where he wholeheartedly supported the movement. Earlier, then Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Uddhav Thackeray, also met with Sadhguru and assured Maharashtra’s support to this generational movement.
